Inga Wygant is a Pianist & Composer. She is a winner of international competitions. Inga has been taking piano lessons for 12 yrs. while enrolled in piano at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. Inga has studied with masters such as Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Vivian Li, Eduardo Delgado, Pierre Réach and Andreas Fröhlich.
Inga attended the 2024 Todi Music Masters for Adanced Pianists for the eighth edition in Italy. She had the opportunity to play with TIMM Festival Orchestra and a solo concert in Umbria (Teatro Municipal di Todi).
Inga recently won a Silver Award in 2023 European Classical Musical Awards for Piano. Inga is a proud member of ASCAP. She began composing at 4 & was a winner in: 2022 Global Genius Music Competition, Gold Prize, Original Composition and 2022 London Young Musician Awards, Silver, Original Composition.
Inga composed and recorded, Around the World in 80 Minutes, Album in 2023 with more compositions to be added.
In 2022 & 2023 Inga was a student in Luna Composition Lab with Dr. Whitney George. Last year the NYC ensemble "ICE"-International Contemporary Ensemble performed two of Inga's compositions including: "Chinese Ribbon Dance" & "Ukrainian Folk Dance" (composed for peace).
Inga's original composition, "Ukrainian Folk Dance", was included in Grammy nominated-Clarice Assad's Project Tapestry which was premiered in San Diego at the Mainly Mozart Festival in November 2023.
Inga enjoys singing on stage & leads the Choir with her Father at her Church where she often plays piano as well.
Inga is learning Italian & plans to continue her Piano studies in Italy in the Fall of 2025 at a Conservatorio now that she graduated high school at age 15.
Her musical experiences have crafted her talents into the performer she is today.
